Hyaluronan enriched transfer medium – a possible alternative to freeze-all cycles in PCOS
A study by Sayali Kandari, MS PhD, Cellsure Biotech And Research Centre, Mumbai, India, has evaluated the benefit of EmbryoGlue in PCOS patients. The use of EmbryoGlue for time-lapse selected sET in PCOS shows significant increase in implantation and live birth rates with lower miscarriage rates compared with conventional embryo transfer medium. Once again EmbryoGlue has been confirmed to significantly increase live birth rates
A study presented at Fertility 2017 in Edinburgh showed that clinical pregnancy rate, implantation rate and live birth rate all were significantly higher in the group having transfer with EmbryoGlue compared to control. Both groups were matched for age, previous treatment and day of transfer. Read more in this summary of the study.Read study
EmbryoGlue improves pregnancy and implantation rates. Results from a meta-analysis on almost 10,000 embryo transfers.
A meta-analysis of Japanese studies, including almost 10,000 cycles shows that EmbryoGlue improves implantation resulting in increased pregnancy rates confirming findings from the Cochrane reports.Read scientific summary

20 years on - reflections on hyaluronan
It has been more than 20 years since Prof. Gardner and his team first published on the effects of hyaluronan on preimplantation embryo culture and transfer. This paved the way for the creation of EmbryoGlue, which has since then been proven to benefit clinical embryo transfer and outcome. Read this blog post where Prof. Gardner reflects on the role of this remarkable macromolecule in assisted reproduction.Read blog post
Why hyaluronan is an invaluable molecule for embryo implantation
Hyaluronic acid, also called hyaluronan, is a glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout our body. It is particularly abundant in the female reproductive tract, both in the oviduct and the uterus, which makes hyaluronan an important molecule for applications in assisted reproduction. Read this blog post to learn about the role of hyaluronan in embryo implantation.Read blog post

EmbryoGlue - for improved take-home baby rate
Watch Laboratory Director Basak Balaban from American Hospital of Istanbul in Turkey explain how using EmbryoGlue for transfer can increase the chance to have a baby.
EmbryoGlue increases take-home baby rate
EmbryoGlue is used when transfering fertilised eggs back to the woman as the last step in an IVF treatment. EmbryoGlue has in several clinical studies been found to significantly increase pregnancy and take-home-baby rate.
How a physiologically based embryo transfer medium facilitates increased live birth rate
In a prospective randomised trial performed by Prof Bulent Urman and colleagues, more than 1200 patients we were able to show the beneficial effect of EmbryoGlue on implantation and pregnancy rates. Listen to him discussing the study in a presentation from ESHRE 2016.
